When I first founded Stars of the Future Inc., my vision was simple — to bring sports to a community where there weren’t many opportunities for youth to engage, stay active, or find positive outlets. As a father of four boys and three girls, I saw firsthand how important it is for kids to have access to activities that help them grow, learn teamwork, and develop life skills. Sports became that starting point, a way to get kids off the streets and give them something to look forward to.
But as we began to grow, I quickly realized that the needs of our youth and their families went beyond just sports. It wasn’t just about playing games or learning how to be a better athlete; it was about creating a holistic support system for the entire family. It became clear to me that we needed to empower our youth, help them discover their potential, and provide resources for their families as well.
One year later, I am so proud of how far we’ve come. Not only do we have thriving sports programs that engage hundreds of youth, but we’ve also launched a Youth Empowerment Initiative and built a strong network of resources. These programs go beyond the game — offering mentorship, educational support, and mental health resources, ensuring that every child has the tools they need to succeed.
Stars of the Future Inc. has become more than just a sports organization; it’s a community-driven movement that is shaping the next generation of leaders, thinkers, and doers. I'm incredibly proud of what we've achieved, but I know this is just the beginning. Together, we are making a lasting impact — one child, one family at a time. 🌟
